How to Delete Facebook Account Permanently?
- Open your Facebook App and click on three lines which is on right top of the screen.
- Scroll down and click on Setting and Privacy then choose Setting.
- Scroll down again and click on Profile access and control.
- You will see the option 'Deactivation and deletion', select it.
- Tick on 'Delete account' and hit on 'Continue to account deletion'.
- Again click on continue and Facebook ask you the reasons why are you going to delete your account, read them and just click on 'Continue to account deletion'.
- Scroll down and click on 'Delete Account'.
- Enter your password and click on 'Continue'.
- You will see confirmation dialog box read them and click on 'Delete Account'
This is not your final step to delete your Facebook account permanently. If you log in to your account again within 30 days your FB account will be automatically reactivated successfully.
How to Deactivate Facebook Account?
- Open your Facebook App click on three lines on right top of the screen.
- Scroll down and click on Setting and Privacy.
- You will see Personal Information under Account section, select it.
- Click on Manage account.
- After clicking it you will find Deactivate option on the right side, click on it.
- Enter your password and click on continue.
- New page will be opened and choose your reason why are you going to deactivate your account, scroll down and click on continue.
- Choose when you will reactivate your account and click again on continue.
- After that click on Deactivate My Account.
After following these steps your Facebook account will be deactivated successfully. You can reactivate your account when you want by logging it using your email address or phone number and your password.
